Geek -- and proud of it. Married, father of: a lovely daughter born in 2001, a jovial son born in 2006. Ex-naval officer, now working as an telecommunications software engineer in Los Angeles.
Longer Bio
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on a cold Friday night. Thankfully, transported to someplace warm (Cannes, France) to be raised in sunshine, warmth and sand; until middle school, when returned to Canada -- Ottawa this time.
Stayed there long enough to like it, then we moved to Plantagenet. Never heard of it? No one has. Its a small town between Ottawa and Montreal.
We had horses, sheep, chickens and neighbors who's family trees had far too few branches in them.
I left for Ottawa to go to University and eventually join the Navy. After University, I spent several years in the Navy -- many of them on exchange with the US.
I left the Navy, moved to the US and spent more time in school. After school, I moved to New York where I worked like a slave, partied too hard and ruined a lot of friendships.
I met my lovely wife, fell in love, got married and had a child. We had just decided to leave New York when 9/11 hit us hard. Now, I'm back with the sun, warmth and sand; and I'm raising my family the best I can.
