Pedipalp
From HomoExcelsior
n. Six-segmented leglike parts of a spider emerging from the endites, associated laterally with the mouthparts, and used for manupulating food and cleaning the spider. The terminal or tarsal segment is simple in females, but may be drastically modified into two complex sexual intromittent organs capable of carrying and introducing sperm into the epigynum of the female. Important in the identification of adult male spiders.
